Born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Rachel Kesselman has lived in Paris for over a decade, where she writes, teaches, and acts as Workshop Director of La Muse Retreat. Her fiction and nonfiction examine the American Rust Belt, social mobility, womanhood, and life in France. She is currently at work on a novel.
